Woman Told

Pir Rothenberg *

I am told I am a good, selfless person.

I am told I am a very honest person.

I've been told by many friends that I'm sweet and loyal.

I have been told that I'm a "good listener."

I've been told I'm very fun to be around.

I've been told that I'm smart.

I'm told I'm a great catch!

I am oftentimes told I am the biggest sweetheart there is.

I'm saying this because that's what other people have told me.

I am told that people are drawn to me because of my personality.

I've been told I have an "inner light."

I've been told that my smile lights up a room.

I've been told I am someone who can light up a room with my smile.

My friend once told me that I was walking sunshine.

My mother always told me that happiness was the key to life.

My Dad once told me that "nothing is better in life than sharing it with someone else."

My parents told me they found me crying in a dumpster in 1985.

I've been told people will notice my passion for life and all the things I do.

I was told recently that I am a unicorn.

Alan Watts told me that I'm an expression of the universe.

I was once told that I am an "indigo child."

A psychic recently told me I was from another planet.

Lately I've been told it's my smile and that I seem to be this sunny, smiley, almost radiating happiness person.

I've been told I have a happy, bubbly smile, a calming energy and a sweet nature.

I like people and I'm told that shows with how warm I am, how comfortable I make everyone around me.

I've also been told that I have great energy.

I have been told I give great hugs—I think it's an energy thing.

Then again, I've also been told I'm pretty high energy.

I've been told at times that my "passionate nature" can be overwhelming.

I'm told that I can be fairly intense.

A few people have told me that I am "too intense."

I'm told it can be grating.

I'm told I can be nice, sweet and kind to a fault.

I've been told that I am too logical and don't follow my heart enough.

I've also been told that I can at times be overly polite and apologize too much.

I'm overly-sensitive, or so I've been told.

I've been told I over-think things too much.

I get told that I talk too much.

I have also been told I'm hard to read.

I've been told I should smile more.

I've been told I'm a "guy's girl."

I get told all the time I'm a "good girl."

I really don't know what to say about myself.

I just know what other people have told me.

I have been told I have nice lips.

A few people have told me I have great eyes and eyebrows.

I have long eyelashes and I'm told they're "expressive."

I've been told it's my hair.

I've been told it's either my eyes, my smile or my hair.

I've been told it's my eyes, my smile and my hair.

I've been told it's my eyes, which are supposedly "piercing."

I am told that my eyes twinkle as if I am up to something.

I've been told I've got killer eyes.

I have been told my eyes are striking.

Someone once told me my eyes punch them in the gut in the best way.

I have been told that I have cat-like eyes.

One guy I worked with in the carnival told me I shouldn't wear shades.

I have been told that I have a nice smile.

I am told I have pretty eyes and others enjoy my smile.

I suppose what I have been told the most is my eyes, lips, smile, and height.

I'm tall, and have very long legs (from what I've been told).

I've been told I have nice legs, too.

I've been told my legs are Rocken'.

People have always told me that I have a beautiful smile.

I have been told that it's my eyes and my smile.

I've been told I have nice lips and pretty eyes.

I'm told it's my smile but I assume that most men are lying when they say this.

I've been told it's my boobs.

I've been told they are quite nice.

My boobs are awesome (I've been told that's what you notice).

Others say my butt.

I get told it's quite cute.

I have been told my eyes and I have also been told my butt.

I've been told I'm attractive, although I feel a person's true beauty comes from within.

I usually just laugh when I get told I'm hot.

I'm told that confidence is by far my sexiest trait.

I have been told a lot that I "have presence."

I have been told repeatedly that I have presence and a forceful personality.

I've been told by more than a few people that they thought I was really intimidating at first.

I was just recently speaking with a new friend and she told me that, when we first met, I intimidated her.

Recently I have been told I look intimidating and that's why men don't approach me.

I have also been told more times than I can count that I am much friendlier than I look.

I have been told that I can be hard to get to know at times.

I've been told I'm a tough nut to crack, so you might want to bring a hammer.

I have been told I'm an enigma.

But I can still be pretty fun to hang out with, I'm told!

I've been told that I have a great sense of humor.

I'm told I'm pretty awesome to be around.

I was told that as soon as I show up, it becomes a party.

At least I've been told.

I've been told different things.

I've been told by others I'm not their cup of tea.

I am often told that I am odd.

I am told I snore.

A date told me I was chubbier in real life.

I've recently been told I sometimes whimper.

I've been told that I have bad taste and I'm completely fine with that.

I would rather be told the truth.

A roommate from college once told me her father told her, "Honey, having sex is fine if you're friends first and still friends afterward."

A friend of mine once told me that a proper kiss never begins on the lips.

She also told me if a man can make you laugh he's halfway up your leg.

I've been told I have a great laugh.

I've been told I'm amazing to watch.

I've been told I do well.

A restaurant owner told me.

A guy I was with told me that my skin tastes like root beer.

And I get told all the time I smell nice.

I have been told I have cute feet.

One sleaze told me that he would lick my toes just to talk to me.

A man at Rite Aid once told me I have a nice mouth.

I have great birthing hips…or at least that's what some Mormon guy told me once.

I've been told I'm a tease.

I've been told I'm really good at flirting, among other things.

I've been told I'm a natural flirt.

I've been told that I have a "switch" in my walk.

I have been told I have a sexy voice.

I have also been told it's the way I speak to people.

I've been told it's my fine ass.

I have been told I have great curves.

I'm told I look fantastic in a corset.

I've been told I'm a bit kinky & even freaky.

I've also been told I "ooze" sensuality.

Someone told me that I was a sex goddess.

I have a cleft of Venus vagina (which I was told is the Cadillac of all pussy).

This is usually the only time I think I'm being told the truth.

My grandmother told me true love is when you find someone that loves the thing about you that no one else can stand or the thing you hate most about yourself.

I've often been told I seem intimidating or hard to approach.

I've been told that I'm approachable, but not sweet.

I've been told I'm funny and upbeat a lot of the time, but I have a biting sarcastic side.

Personality wise, I've been told I come off as a big dork.

My personality test told me so.

I have been told I over-think everything.

I'm told I should work on that.

I've been told I can be cold.

I have been told that I get bored easily.

I'm sometimes told that I can be mean.

Someone told me that I had a screw loose.

I don't get it, but I am told that everywhere I go.

I have to go with what I've been told.

I've been told (ok not really, but I wish I were told) that I'm super sweet and can make people laugh.

People tend to tell me their deep inner thoughts and then wonder why they told me.

No one has ever told me they loved me.

Haven't I told you enough already?

If I told you more, I'd have to kill you.

Hell, I told you I was crazy.

I am the girl your mother never told you about.
